(<em>Man, has it been <strong>a few years</strong> since that, already?</em>)</p>\n<p>Unsolicited, I'd <a href=\"http://decafbad.com/blog/2003/06/13/newly-digital\">written up my own newly digital experiences</a>.  There I was, in the fourth grade, reverse-engineering the C64 kernel from a disassembly dump of the 6502 code I'd printed out.  I can't say it really hurt my chances with the girls, though.  On the contrary, <a href=\"http://decafbad.com/blog/2005/06/17/were-engaged\">it eventually attracted just the right one</a>.</p>\n<img src=\"http://www.decafbad.com/blog-images/first-c64.jpg\" width=\"\" height=\"\">\n\n",
