Like the MTCleanHTMLPlugin I released a little while ago, Brad Choate's new MT Sanitize Plugin appears to do the same job. I haven't tried it yet, but since I'm using a pile of Brad's plugins and have based all of mine upon his examples, I'm assuming it's good stuff. I'll likely check it out and see if I like mine or his better for my own use. :)

(Oh, and in case anyone wonders, I mean "competitor" in the "there's no competition because his code-fu's likely better than mine here" sense. :) )

  • OOPS! Well... it doesn't do near what MTCleanHTML does (no attribute handling for one), but this is the first I'm hearing of it. You should have posted a mention of it in the MT Plugin forum. Could have saved me some time! :)
  • D'oht! I hadn't even thought about posting a mention there.. I mean I can't say I don't know about the forum, since I posted about my last couple of plugins. :) I'll have to take a look at your tonight though - mine's a giant hack I did at 20 minutes after midnight.
  • Ack.. I wish the MT forums had RSS feeds :) That's why I forget about them! Would be nifty if they had a TrackBack ping-able page for plugin announcements, too.
  • Long ago when I was developing the resource page, I assumed it would be a TB pingable resource. Brad Choate suggested it again recently (most likely because I really need to get on the ball and update that more frequently :) ) As soon as I have time, I'm going to do that.
